DID WE CALL YOU? IT MIGHT NOT BE US.

Fraudsters are posing as Active Intel Investigations and trying to scam you out of your hard-earned money. The AFX scam uses variations of our names and logos to gain your trust. AFX Active Intelligence and Active Intel AFX are a couple of names our investigators have found being used to steal from you.

These scammers have called people just like you claiming to help recover money that they had taken months earlier! And they intend to take your recovery fee, too.

We do not cold call you.

Our services are available by appointment only.

We do not use Telegram.

Our communcations are through legitimate channels.

We do not hide our identities.

Our investigators will meet you directly, often by video.

What can you do to prevent becoming a victim?

The most important line of defense is to be the initiating party. That means you need to be the one who starts the conversation or request. If someone calls or emails you and asks for money or personal information, they may be pretending to be your bank or your IT department or other official sounding personnel. Tell them you’ll call them back, find a legitimate number for the company, preferrably from their website or your phone contacts, and call to discuss the matter with a real employee. They may tell you that there is no issue or that no one contacted you. Now you know that you have avoided being scammed!

PRESIDENT – ACTIVE INTEL INVESTIGATIONS

Active Intel Investigations

We work hard to help you prevent fraud and avoid being scammed.

Fraudsters pretending to be us will not be helpful and they have no legitimate online presence. Our investigators have determined that these scammers are most likely the same people that stole from victims some months prior to their call pretending to be us and offering to recover lost funds.
